The Steyning Art Trail 2025 is shaping up to be a fabulous day out for all ages.
Step off the beaten path and explore the winding streets and secret corners of medieval Steyning as we open the doors to over 20 unique venues showcasing the very best of our talented local artists and makers.
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome a new venue to the trail – The Quaker Meeting Hall at Penns Cottage – a stunning Grade II listed property once used by the Quakers in the 1600s. Other historical highlights include Old Timbers, a 15th-century gem with Jacobean flair, and the beautifully preserved Brotherhood Hall, standing strong for over 500 years. Be sure to stop by the Steyning Museum, where you’ll find fascinating local history and pick up your all-important Art Trail map.
Venture just beyond the High Street and you’ll discover a treasure trove of artists’ homes, studios, and workshops, where you can meet the creators and browse (or buy!) work in ceramics, painting, textiles, jewellery, photography, furniture, and more – all lovingly handmade and often at very affordable prices.
New for 2025:
The creativity of tomorrow will be on show at Steyning Grammar School, where student artwork will take pride of place.
Making it Out, a collective of skilled artists, will be exhibiting their work in the atmospheric, ancient barns they’ve lovingly restored.
Whether you’re a passionate collector or simply fancy a lovely day out soaking up art and heritage, the Steyning Art Trail 2025 is not to be missed.
